Cookie Policy
Last updated: 15 September 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage MyServiceBook uses, and how you can choose which ones you allow.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work the same way. In this policy "cookies" covers all of them.
2. Essential cookies (always on)
These are needed for the app to work and cannot be switched off. They are not used to track you.
- Sign-in session (Supabase): keeps you logged in securely.
- Your cookie choice (msb-cookie-consent): remembers what you allowed, so we do not ask again.
- Preferences (locale, sidebarCollapsed, businessMode): remember your language and layout.
- Security (hCaptcha): on the sign-up form, tells people and bots apart.
3. Analytics cookies (optional)
With your permission, we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the app is used and to catch errors, so we can improve it. PostHog stores an identifier in cookies and local storage whose names start with "ph_".
These cookies are off until you accept them. If you reject them, PostHog collects nothing.
4. Our website
The marketing website myservicebook.gr has its own banner with the same two categories plus a third, Advertising. Its analytics (Umami) load only after you accept Analytics there. The TikTok Pixel, which sets cookies such as "_ttp" so TikTok can measure which of our ads bring visitors, loads only after you accept Advertising; the same page views and button clicks are then also reported to TikTok from our server (TikTok Events API). The app itself does not use advertising cookies.
5. Managing your choice
You can change your choice at any time, either on this page or in Settings → Support & Policies. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect data collected before you withdrew it.
